Job summary

Impact Kids is seeking a highly motivated martial arts instructor to teach students aged 4 to 18 across partner schools. You will provide daily instruction, demonstrate techniques, assess progress, and maintain a safe, engaging environment.

Ideal candidates hold a black belt or equivalent, have 2+ years working with children and 1–5 years martial arts teaching, and can travel between sites. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required; CPR/First Aid and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Black belt or equivalent rank in karate or a compatible martial art.
• Teaching certification preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with children; martial arts teaching experience (1-5 years) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily martial arts instruction to students aged 4–18 with different ability levels.
• Demonstrate techniques, explain principles, assess progress, and give feedback.
• Group supervision focusing on behavior, safety, health, and personal development.
• Ensure student and staff safety, enforce rules, and teach safe training habits.
• Organize and prepare daily lesson plans in a fun, creative manner.
• Use classroom management to create an engaging, inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and be a positive role model.
• Follow company Code of Conduct and Core Values.
