Job summary

Impact Kids is seeking a highly motivated, energetic black belt instructor to teach martial arts to students ages 4–18 across our programs. You will implement the company curriculum, provide constructive feedback, and maintain a safe, positive learning environment with clear, age-appropriate communication to students and parents.

The ideal candidate will hold a black belt, have 1–5 years of martial arts teaching experience, and possess excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with children in academic/athletic settings.
• Black belt or equivalent rank in karate or a compatible martial art required.
• Teaching certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily martial arts instruction to students aged 4–18 with varying abilities.
• Demonstrate techniques and explain underlying principles; observe and assess progress.
• Group supervision focusing on behavior, health and safety, security, and personal development.
• Ensure safety during training and enforce martial arts rules and safety protocols.
• Organize and prepare daily lesson plans in a fun, creative way.
• Use effective classroom management to create an inclusive, engaging environment.
• Collaborate with fellow Activity Specialists and act as a positive role model.
• Adhere to Impact Kids Code of Conduct and company policies.
• Have fun and support the mission of Impact Kids.
