Job summary

Impact Kids is seeking a highly motivated, energetic black belt instructor to lead daily martial arts classes for students aged 4 to 18 and deliver the curriculum while maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Ideal candidates have a black belt, 1–5 years of teaching martial arts, and are ready to undergo Live Scan background check, child abuse clearance, mandated reporter training, and CPR/First Aid certification; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Black belt or equivalent rank in karate or a compatible martial art.
• Teaching certification (preferred but not required).
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children; martial arts teaching experience (1-5 years) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily martial arts instruction to students aged 4–18 with different ability levels.
• Demonstrate techniques, explain principles, observe progress and give feedback.
• Group supervision focusing on behavior, health and safety, and personal development.
• Ensure safety of students and staff; enforce martial arts rules and safe training habits.
• Organize and prepare daily lesson plans in a fun, creative manner.
• Use classroom management to create an inclusive, engaging environment.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and be a positive role model.
• Follow Impact Kids Code of Conduct and company policies.
