Job summary

Impact Kids is seeking a dynamic Black Belt instructor to lead daily martial arts sessions for ages 4–18 across multiple schools. You will teach techniques, provide feedback, and reinforce core safety practices while motivating students to learn and grow.

You will also supervise groups, coordinate with fellow instructors, and uphold the company curriculum and conduct standards in a fun, inclusive environment. A background check and CPR/First Aid certification are required.

Qualifications

• Fingerprint-based background check required (Live Scan), child abuse clearance, mandated reporter training, and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children; martial arts teaching experience (1–5 years) required.
• Black belt or equivalent rank in karate or a compatible martial art required; teaching certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with children and parents, and ability to follow curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily martial arts instruction to ages 4–18 with varying abilities.
• Demonstrate techniques, explain principles, observe progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Supervise groups, manage behavior, health, safety, and personal development.
• Ensure safety of students and staff; enforce martial arts rules and safe training habits.
• Organize daily lesson plans in a fun, creative manner; maintain an inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with team members and serve as a positive role model.
