Job summary

Impact Kids is seeking a highly motivated Martial Arts Instructor to lead safe, engaging classes for children aged 4 to 18 across multiple program sites. The ideal candidate has a black belt in karate or a compatible martial art, strong communication with kids and parents, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities include delivering daily martial arts instruction, preparing lessons, supervising groups, and upholding safety standards and the company code of conduct.

Qualifications

• Black belt or equivalent rank in karate or a compatible martial art.
• Teaching certification preferred but not required.
• Background checks and CPR/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily martial arts instruction to students aged 4–18 with different ability levels.
• Demonstrate martial arts techniques, explain principles, observe and assess progress, and give feedback.
• Group supervision focusing on behavior and safety, health and security, and personal and skill development.
• Ensure safety and teach safe training habits; enforce all martial arts rules.
• Organize and prepare daily lesson plans in a fun and creative manner.
• Use effective classroom management to create a fun, inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with fellow Activity Specialists and role model positive behavior.
• Follow Impact Kids Code of Conduct and Core Values.
