Job summary

Impact Kids is seeking a highly motivated, energetic black belt instructor to lead martial arts programs for children ages 4–18 across our school sites. You will provide daily instruction, demonstrate techniques, assess progress, and maintain safety and positive behavior in class.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years working with children, 1–5 years of martial arts teaching, a black belt or equivalent, and CPR/First Aid certification; background checks and mandated reporter training are

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with children
• 1–5 years of martial arts teaching experience
• Black belt or equivalent rank; teaching certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide daily martial arts instruction to students ages 4–18 with varying ability levels
• Demonstrate techniques and explain principles; observe and give feedback on progress
• Supervise groups focusing on behavior, health and safety, security, and skill development
• Ensure safety of students and staff; enforce training rules and safe practices
• Organize and prepare engaging daily lesson plans
• Use effective classroom management to create a fun, inclusive environment
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and serve as a positive role model
• Follow the Impact Kids Code of Conduct and company policies
• Exhibit Impact Kids Core Values at all times
