Job summary

Impact Kids seeks a motivated martial arts instructor to lead safe, engaging classes for children ages 4–18 across partner schools. The role emphasizes clear communication, positive supervision, and adhering to the company curriculum.

Applicants should have a black belt or equivalent, youth experience, and be prepared for background checks and CPR/First Aid certification. Travel between sites is required; a team-first attitude is essential to our program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with children; martial arts teaching experience (1-5 years minimum) required.
• Black belt or equivalent rank in karate or a compatible martial art; teaching certification preferred.
• Fingerprint-based background check and CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily martial arts instruction to students aged 4–18 with different ability levels.
• Demonstrate martial arts techniques and provide feedback on progress.
• Group supervision focusing on behavior, health and safety, and personal development.
• Organize and prepare daily lesson plans in a fun and creative manner.
• Use effective classroom management to lead activities and create an inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with fellow Activity Specialists and model a positive attitude.
• Follow the Impact Kids Code of Conduct and Core Values.
