Job summary

Impact Kids is seeking a highly motivated martial arts instructor to teach students aged 4 to 18 across multiple school sites in California. The role requires delivering safe, engaging classes, providing constructive feedback, and enforcing all safety guidelines.

Qualified candidates will have 1–5 years of martial arts instruction experience, a black belt or equivalent, and the ability to communicate clearly with students and parents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with children
• 1–5 years of martial arts teaching experience
• Black belt or equivalent rank in karate or a compatible martial art
• Teaching certification preferred but not required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide daily martial arts instruction to students ages 4–18 with different ability levels
• Demonstrate martial arts techniques and provide feedback on progress
• Group supervision focusing on behavior, health and safety, and personal development
• Ensure safety of students and team members and enforce safety rules
• Organize and prepare daily lesson plans in a fun, creative manner
• Use effective classroom management to create an inclusive environment
• Collaborate with fellow Activity Specialists and serve as a positive role model
• Follow the Impact Kids Code of Conduct and company policies
• Model Impact Kids Core Values at all times
