Job summary

Seattle YMCA is seeking a Program Supervisor for Year Round Youth Development Programs to lead before/after school and summer day camp staff across multiple sites. The role includes planning developmentally appropriate activities, ensuring quality child care, supervising staff and volunteers, and building strong relationships with families, schools and the community.

The position runs 6:45am–6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with 35–40 hours per week across admin and in-ratio time, onsite at one

Qualifications

• Three years or more of experience working with children, camps, childcare, tutoring or nannying.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and curricula.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate site staff/volunteers; maintain staff ratios.
• Communicate with families and school personnel; coordinate with community partners.
• Oversee safety, budgeting, records, and compliance with policies; ensure coverage and site operations.
