Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Seattle is seeking a Program Supervisor for Year Round Youth Development Programs. You will lead before- and after-school programs during the school year and day camp staff in the summer, ensuring developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum are provided to participants.

You will supervise staff and volunteers, including hiring and training, maintaining required staff/child ratios, and building professional relationships with families, school personnel, and the

Qualifications

• Three years or more of experience working with children, camps, childcare, tutoring or nannying.
• One year or more supervisory experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Have completed 30 credits of 100-level or above college coursework.
• 21 years of age or older.
• TB tests and MMR vaccination required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop before- and after-school programs during the school year and day camp staff in summer.
• Supervise and evaluate staff/volunteers; hire/train and maintain staff/child ratios.
• Communicate with families, staff, and partners; attend meetings and trainings.
• Follow YMCA policies and safety procedures; manage budgets and site operations.
