Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll HRIS Analyst to design, configure, and optimize Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada payroll operations. This role serves as the primary HRIS partner to Payroll, ensuring solutions align with business needs and compliance.

The ideal candidate will partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, IT and other stakeholders to analyze requirements, lead testing, and drive continuous improvement across the payroll landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years HRIS experience with hands-on Workday Payroll configuration in complex payroll environments.
• Workday Payroll Certification, preferred.
• Experience supporting multi-state and/or multi-country payroll operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada payroll operations.
• Partner with Payroll leadership and cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design scalable Workday solutions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex payroll issues; perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable improvements.
• Lead Workday testing activities for system enhancements, releases, updates, and regulatory changes.
• Support payroll-related configuration across Workday modules including Benefits, Compensation, Absence and reporting.
• Evaluate Workday functionality and best practices to drive enhancements and automation.
