Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a senior technical leader to guide the DET IT Finance Engineering team in Seattle. You will drive architecture, lead Workday Financials integrations, and leverage AI and automation to transform finance operations.

This full-time role partners with cross-functional teams, mentors engineers, and shapes enterprise finance solutions across Workday, Accounting Center, and MuleSoft integrations, with a focus on scalability and security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise software engineering experience with 7+ years in Workday Financials/Accounting Center and integration-heavy environments.
• Proven leadership in architecture and solution design for large-scale enterprise systems.
• Strong experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable, high-performing finance solutions.
• Design and govern Workday Financial solution integrations with external systems (Salesforce, RevPro, Vertex, MuleSoft).
• Translate complex business requirements into robust technical designs aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Mentor engineers through architecture reviews and code reviews, fostering craftsmanship.
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and external partners to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Drive adoption of AI, automation, and emerging integration tools.
