Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for Cloud ERP (Finance) to provide technical leadership for the DET IT Finance Engineering team. You will shape enterprise finance solutions, guide Workday Finance, Accounting Center, and MuleSoft integrations, and mentor engineers across cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes autonomous, visionary leadership to influence design, delivery, and scalability of finance applications, with a strong focus on AI and automation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise software engineering experience.
• Experience with Workday Financials/Accounting Center or comparable ERP platforms.
• Proven track record of technical leadership in architecture for large-scale systems.
• Deep Workday technical framework expertise: BP, Security, Accounting Center, Prism Analytics, Core Connectors, EIB, Studio, Extend, Orchestrate, BIRT.
• Experience delivering ERP integrations with external platforms via APIs, connectors, middleware.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of scalable ERP solutions.
• Design and govern Workday Financial integrations with external systems.
• Translate business finance requirements into robust technical designs.
• Mentor engineers through architecture reviews and code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers and 3rd-party integrators to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Drive adoption of AI/ML, automation, and integration tools.
• Champion continuous learning and engineering excellence across Finance teams.
• Anticipate future needs and evolve frameworks to scale for growth.
