Job summary

Salesforce’s Digital Enterprise Technology (DET) group seeks a senior technical leader to guide the Workday Finance engineering team, shaping enterprise finance solutions and integrations across Workday Financials, Accounting Center, and MuleSoft platforms.

You will mentor engineers, drive architecture reviews, and collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing finance applications while leveraging AI/automation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise software engineering experience, with 7+ years in Workday Financials/Accounting Center
• Proven leadership in architecture and solution design for large-scale enterprise systems
• Deep expertise in Workday technical frameworks (BP, Security, Accounting Center, Prism Analytics, Core Connectors, EIB, Studio, Extend, Orchestrate)
• Hands-on experience in Workday integrations with external platforms (Salesforce, RevPro, Vertex, banking systems) using APIs and connectors
• Strong understanding of integration frameworks, API design, SOA patterns, and web services (REST, SOAP)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, incl. log analysis (Splunk)
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders through architecture decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication with business audiences
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of scalable Workday Financial solutions and integrations
• Design, develop, and govern Workday Financial solutions with external integrations
• Translate complex business requirements into robust technical designs
• Ensure coding standards, security, and performance optimization
• Mentor engineers through architecture reviews and code reviews
