Job summary

Nordex Group is seeking a Service Lead Technician in Texas to lead onsite technicians, perform advanced troubleshooting, and ensure safety and turbine availability. You will communicate with customers, coordinators, and back-office teams, while executing maintenance, fault-finding, and preventive tasks on wind turbines.

You will also manage schedules, inventory, and service reports, contributing to customer satisfaction and successful wind farm operations across sites in the region.

Qualifications

• Lead and mentor onsite Service Technicians with strong safety focus.
• Diagnose and repair wind turbine mechanical/electrical faults.
• Maintain high turbine availability and service quality.
• Coordinate with customers, field teams, and management.
• Travel to wind farms; operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and leadership to onsite technicians.
• Serve as primary customer contact for operations and reporting.
• Perform preventive maintenance and fault-finding.
• Plan and adjust daily work schedules to ensure safety.
• Maintain records, inventory, and ERP data accurately.
