Zusammenfassung

Nordex Group is seeking a Service Technician I to ensure safe, efficient operation of wind turbine generators at our sites. You will perform routine maintenance and basic repairs, supporting power generation and system reliability.

The role requires collaboration with on-site and back-office teams to maintain high availability, complete documentation, and engage in safety practices. Ideal candidates bring 0–2 years in wind energy and a hands-on technical mindset.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; technical wind/engineering education preferred.
• 0-2 years in wind energy or related field.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work at heights up to 300 feet and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather and rotating shifts.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine wind turbine maintenance and basic repairs following established procedures.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues under guidance of experienced technicians.
• Complete maintenance reports, track work activities, and manage service tickets.
• Support inventory and material management, including receiving, organizing, and tracking parts and tools.
• Prepare tools, materials, and documentation needed for scheduled work.
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE inspections, toolbox talks, vehicle inspections, and incident reporting.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and turbine performance.
• Work closely with team members and support additional site operations as needed.
