Job summary

Leigh & Co. Events is seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator to join our fast-growing wedding planning team in Seattle, Washington. This contract role allows you to set your own schedule, with training provided. You'll be responsible for managing wedding logistics, from final calls with clients to overseeing the ceremony and reception setup.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in wedding planning, strong communication skills, and the ability to work weekends. We offer $400 for 10-12 hours of work per project.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to carry and lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Attend a final details call with clients approximately 6 weeks prior to the wedding.
• Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal.
• Serve as the primary advocate for the couple onsite.
• Oversee ceremony and reception setup.
• Manage full wedding day execution.
• Greet and direct all vendors.
• Communicate setup instructions clearly to vendors.
• Coordinate personal and event details.
• Support the wedding party and family members.
• Ensure all end-of-event items are packed and accounted for.
• Proactively manage and resolve any issues.
