Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of experience as a wedding or event planner.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to carry and lift 30 lbs.
• Ability to work weekends is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead planner onsite to execute weddings as the primary coordinator.
• Attend a final details call with clients ~6 weeks prior to wedding.
• Lead ceremony rehearsal and ensure timing, cues, and flow are smooth.
• Oversee ceremony and reception setup according to design and playbook.
• Manage full wedding day execution from vendor arrival to breakdown.
• Greet and direct vendors; be main point of contact.
• Communicate setup instructions to vendors to align with the plan.
• Coordinate placement of escort cards, menus, table numbers, and décor.
• Support wedding party and family with guidance and cues.
• Ensure end-of-event items are packed and accounted for.
• Proactively manage issues and last-minute changes to maintain guest experience.
