Leigh & Co. Events is a fast-growing wedding planning company providing design, coordination, and planning services for weddings across the United States.

We are seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator in Texas for a contract role with flexible scheduling and training provided. The Lead Wedding Coordinator will work onsite with client experience managers and assistants to ensure flawless weddings, manage vendor relations, and oversee day-of execution from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner.
• Strong communication skills and be detail oriented.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to carry and lift 30 lbs.
• Ability to work weekends is essential.

Responsibilities

• Attend a final details call with clients ~6 weeks before the wedding to confirm logistics and timeline.
• Lead the ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding and ensure timing and cues are clear.
• Serve as the primary on-site advocate for the couple and support them through challenges.
• Oversee ceremony and reception setup aligned with the design and execution playbook.
• Manage full wedding day execution from vendor arrival to breakdown.
• Greet, direct, and be the main contact for all vendors.
• Communicate setup instructions clearly to vendors and ensure alignment with the plan.
• Coordinate placement of escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, and décor elements.
• Support the wedding party and family with timing cues and day-of needs.
• Ensure end-of-event items are packed and accounted for.
• Proactively resolve any issues or last-minute changes to maintain guest experience.
