Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) is seeking a Construction Manager to lead large-scale water and wastewater facilities projects. You will provide construction management oversight, interpret contract documents, mentor junior engineers, and ensure scope, schedule and budget are met.

This role requires coordinating with the client and project team, managing subcontractors, and delivering projects through close collaboration from inception to closeout.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of construction experience in CM roles.
• Minimum of 5 years water/wastewater facilities construction management.
• Experience coordinating with municipalities on costs, change requests, RFIs, submittals, and inspectors’ daily reports.
• Experience using project management/document management software (Unifier, Procore, eBuilder).

Responsibilities

• Develop Project Management Plans (PMP) for assigned projects.
• Provide construction management oversight during all project phases.
• Create and maintain project schedules.
• Prepare and update cost estimates.
• Prepare and maintain project budgets.
• Coordinate and interface with the client and project team.
• Manage subcontractors and technical resources.
• Review contractor work for compliance with plans and specs.
• Lead project meetings and oversee change orders.
