Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager in the Water/Wastewater team. You will lead projects from design through construction, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and mentor team members.

The role emphasizes client relations, proactive risk management, and collaboration across disciplines at JMT. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in water/wastewater and a PE license, with ABET-accredited engineering training, and strong communication and presentation skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, environmental, or chemical engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
• 10+ years of experience in water and wastewater projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Manage project(s) in scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate with disciplines and subconsultants to define scope and fee.
• Develop project management and quality plans; create schedules.
• Manage subconsultants and track progress; mitigate risks.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders; lead client relationships.
• Prepare progress reports and review invoices; support marketing efforts.
