Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver water and wastewater design and management projects. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an ABET-accredited engineering degree, a Professional Engineering license, and 10+ years of relevant experience. PMP/CAPM is a plus. You will coordinate multi-discipline teams and work with clients at the county and state level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, environmental, or chemical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineering License.
• 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater project design and management.

Responsibilities

• Manage project(s) in accordance with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborate with disciplines and subconsultants to develop a risk-averse project scope and fee.
• Create and maintain project schedules and project management plans.
• Coordinate subconsultants and resources to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and prepare changes and proposals.
• Communicate status to internal and external stakeholders and review invoices.
• Lead project status meetings and assist with client marketing and interviews.
• Provide mentorship and performance feedback to team members.
