Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects across the Washington, DC metropolitan area, partnering with clients in DC, Maryland, and Virginia to deliver reliable infrastructure solutions.

The role emphasizes building long‑term client relationships, guiding project teams, and supporting business development within an ESOP environment that values collaboration, accountability, and public service.

Qualifications

• ABET‑accredited civil engineering degree required.
• Professional Engineer license in DC, MD, or VA.
• 15+ years of civil engineering experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead water and wastewater projects from planning through delivery.
• Manage project scope, schedule and budget with subconsultants.
• Build and maintain client relationships and pursue new opportunities.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to project teams.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Prepare progress reports and present updates to clients.
