Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson seeks a Construction Manager to lead large-scale water and wastewater facilities projects. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior staff.

The role requires hands-on construction oversight, coordination with the owner and team, and a strong background in CPM scheduling and municipal project experience. Office and field work are expected with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of construction experience in CM roles.
• 5+ years water/wastewater facilities construction management experience.
• Experience coordinating with municipalities on costs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and daily reports.
• Experience with project management/document management software (Unifier, Procore, eBuilder).
• Ability to review engineering designs and shop drawings for constructability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Project Management Plans (PMP) for assigned projects.
• Provide construction management oversight during all project phases.
• Create and maintain project schedules and cost estimates.
• Review contractor work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with the client and project team; manage and coordinate inspection staff.
