Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Mid- to Senior-Level Water Resources Engineer in the United States (Minneapolis area). The role involves independent work on projects, technical leadership, and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities include engineering analysis, client coordination, and design optimization to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness. The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Civil/Environmental Engineering, 7–8 years of experience, and may hold a PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7-8 years of experience; hydrologic/hydraulic modeling experience preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple projects, including high complexity efforts.
• Serve as Engineer-of-Record and provide technical leadership for civil projects.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate budgets, schedules, and priorities.
• Lead client meetings, value analysis, and cost estimating.
• Coordinate project specifications with construction documents and perform constructability reviews.
