Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration is hiring a Water Damage Specialist at an intermediate level in Mount Clemens, Michigan. You will head a water damage team, apply IICRC standards, and supervise moisture-related restoration tasks for residential and small commercial losses.

Responsibilities include directing PPE usage, documenting progress, and providing field records while coordinating with managers to meet deadlines. Must travel occasionally and work nights or weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Experience with IICRC standards for water damage and mold remediation.
• Current IICRC WRT designation and familiarity with BELFOR procedures.
• Ability to draw moisture maps and log drying goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct teams in PPE use and prioritize safety on site.
• Review project requirements, document progress and report to managers.
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts, and sketches for projects.
• Supervise small crews and coordinate nightly or weekend work as needed.
• Maintain equipment and ensure timely timekeeping and supply usage.
