Job summary

RJW Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Plainfield, IL to lead a team ensuring safe, accurate, and timely movement of products. You will set the floor tone with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity while developing associates who drive results.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience in distribution/logistics, familiarity with WMS, strong communication, and a hands-on, continuous-improvement mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse supervisory/managerial experience.
• Ability to lead a diverse team with safety, accuracy, productivity and attendance standards.
• Experience planning labor in high-volume, deadline-driven operations.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and general computer skills.
• Clear, proactive communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and hands-on support.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse associates to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Plan, prioritize and assign daily work to align labor and equipment with volume, service commitments and customer requirements.
• Ensure all orders are picked, staged, loaded and shipped accurately, on time and in compliance with customer specifications and RJW standards.
• Oversee accurate, timely documentation and system transactions (BOLs, manifests, receipts, adjustments).
• Champion a strong safety and quality culture on the dock and in the warehouse, driving continuous improvement.
• Partner with Customer Solutions/Customer Service and other supervisors to resolve issues and ensure smooth shift handoffs.
