Job summary

RJW Logistics in Plainfield, IL is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team that keeps customers' products moving safely, accurately and on time. You will set the floor tone with a strong safety, quality and productivity focus while developing associates who execute daily tasks.

You will plan labor, prioritize work, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate picking, staging, loading and shipping, with attention to documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of warehouse supervisory/managerial experience in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.
• Proven ability to lead a diverse team with high safety, accuracy, productivity, and attendance standards.
• Experience planning labor and work assignments in a high-volume operation.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS); strong computer and data entry skills.
• Clear, confident communication; ability to set expectations and partner with internal/external teams.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and a hands-on approach to support operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse associates to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Plan, prioritize and assign daily work to align labor and equipment with volume and service commitments.
• Ensure orders are picked, staged, loaded and shipped accurately, on time and to spec.
• Oversee documentation and system transactions (BOLs, manifests, receipts, adjustments).
• Champion safety and quality on the dock and in the warehouse; drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Customer Solutions/CS and other supervisors to ensure smooth shift handoffs.
