Job summary

RJW Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Plainfield, IL, to lead a shift (Wed–Sat, 3:30 PM–2:30 AM) and drive safety, quality and productivity on the dock. You will directly manage a team of warehouse associates and coordinate daily tasks to meet customer commitments.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of supervisory experience in logistics, strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with WMS. RJW offers growth opportunities across its expanding Midwest network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of warehouse supervisory/managerial experience in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.
• Proven ability to lead a diverse team while upholding safety, accuracy, productivity and attendance standards.
• Experience planning labor and work assignments in a high-volume, deadline-driven operation.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and strong data-entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse associates to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Plan, prioritize and assign daily work to align labor and equipment with volume, service commitments and customer requirements.
• Ensure all orders are picked, staged, loaded and shipped accurately, on time and in compliance with customer specifications and RJW standards.
• Oversee accurate, timely documentation and system transactions (BOLs, manifests, receipts, adjustments and other required paperwork).
• Champion a strong safety and quality culture on the dock and in the warehouse, driving continuous improvement.
• Partner with Customer Solutions/Customer Service and other supervisors to resolve issues and deliver a consistent experience for associates and customers.
