Job summary

Penske Logistics in North Las Vegas is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a team of hourly staff, oversee daily warehouse tasks, and ensure customer requirements are met while controlling costs.

The role includes scheduling, coaching, safety, and customer engagement with a Monday–Friday shift (7:00 am–3:30 pm) and possible off-shift needs during peak times. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years related functional experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Ownership and responsibility to run the operation with urgency
• Ability to connect with associates and external customers

Responsibilities

• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading/unloading, dispatch and documentation
• Interview hourly associates and provide hire recommendations
• Monitor attendance, productivity and provide coaching
• Ensure compliance with safety and financial policies
• Plan equipment use and coordinate with vendors for maintenance
