Job summary

The Lead Associate, Warehouse Operations at Cardinal Health oversees inbound or outbound warehouse activities, guiding staff to meet priorities. It involves coordinating shipments, scheduling trucks, delegating tasks, and producing productivity reports to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, with 4+ years of experience preferred. Bilingual Spanish, RF scanner experience, and MHE familiarity are valued, with overtime

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• 4+ years of experience preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and follow-up skills preferred.
• Proficient in AIMS preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous material handling equipment experience (MHE) preferred.
• RF scanner/voice-pick experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows standard operating procedures to assess inventory levels, submit orders, and audit warehouse operations.
• Directs workflows on the floor of the warehouse, including packing, unloading, shipping and managing delivery schedules.
• Analyzes internal data and reports on productivity and efficiency to identify performance gaps.
• Coordinates with Warehouse Supervisors to align on warehouse and inventory priorities.
• Assists in inbound/outbound workload forecasting to determine labor utilization.
• Assists in inventory management, stocking and shipping as necessary.
