Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operations Specialist to oversee daily receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, and storage within our NPHS Logistics Center.

You’ll ensure efficient product flow from vendor receipt to customer shipment, following safety and quality control procedures. You will lead training for safety and operations, coordinate with EH&S, operate and inspect warehouse equipment (training for forklift provided), and support inventory controls and order

Qualifications

• MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel) required or preferred.
• Material handling equipment experience (forklift, pallet jacks) preferred.
• Ability to safely lift/move materials up to 75 pounds.
• Experience shipping hazardous/dangerous goods preferred.
• Demonstrated self-motivation and teamwork in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Leads group training for safety, quality control, and equipment use.
• Order Fulfillment & Processing: prepare and complete orders for shipping.
• Inventory Management: conduct routine counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Receiving & Storage: unload, inspect, label, and store products.
• Quality & Safety Compliance: maintain safe, clean work environment; follow OSHA and company policies.
• Training coordination with site leadership and EH&S.
• Operate and inspect warehouse equipment; forklift operator training provided.
• Handle inquiries via phone/email and escalate as needed.
