Job summary

Cardinal Health in Elgin, IL is seeking a Lead Associate, Warehouse Operations to support the Warehouse Supervisor with inbound or outbound management on the warehouse floor, directing staff, and coordinating receipt of shipments and scheduling of delivery trucks.

This role generates reports on workforce productivity and quality, communicates with customers about disruptions and delivery timelines, and helps ensure efficient, accurate fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• PIT experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs workflows on the warehouse floor, including packing, unloading, shipping, and scheduling deliveries.
• Assists inbound and outbound workload forecasting through historical and trend analysis to determine labor utilization.
• Assists in inventory management and helps with stocking and shipping as necessary.
• Communicates disruptions to customers and provides updates on delivery timeframes to ensure customer satisfaction.
