Job summary

Southshore Companies in Iowa seeks a Floor Supervisor to lead forklift operators, auditors, and CSRs, ensuring safe and efficient RDC operations. You will drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence through coaching, planning, and inventory control using SAP.

Responsibilities include directing loading/unloading, put-away, picking, and continuous improvement initiatives, while communicating with leadership and customers. Overtime may be required during peak season.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of warehouse supervision experience.
• Forklift license preferred; SAP scanning experience a plus.
• Inventory control and leadership ability are essential.
• Must read/write, perform basic math, and follow safety guidelines.
• Bilingual skills are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead forklift operators, auditors, and CSRs to deliver best-in-class service.
• Plan and execute daily operational tasks per site leadership guidance.
• Supervise loading/unloading, put-away, and picking while maintaining order.
• Coach and develop staff, upholding company culture and safety.
• Drive inventory accuracy using SAP and lean 5S principles.
• Interface with customers and management to ensure expectations are met.
• Provide training to operators to achieve high standards.
• Ensure safety rules and PPE usage are followed at all times.
