Job summary

Southshore Companies in Spirit Lake, IA, is seeking a Floor Supervisor to lead forklift operators, auditors, and CSRs in our RDC. You will drive safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction by executing daily plans, coaching staff, and maintaining inventory accuracy using SAP.

The role requires 3+ years of supervision and a high school diploma or GED. Forklift licensing is preferred, with opportunities for overtime during peak season and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of warehouse supervision experience required; additional education may substitute for years of experience.
• Powered Industrial Forklift Truck License is highly preferred.
• Prior SAP scanning experience is a plus.
• Inventory control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute the daily operational plan in accordance with site leadership guidance.
• Schedule, assign, and perform warehousing duties including loading/unloading, put-away, and picking.
• Lead forklift operators and auditors to deliver best-in-class customer service.
• Provide coaching and leadership to forklift operations and auditors.
• Foster a teamwork environment and promote Southshore Companies culture and processes.
• Drive continuous improvement through lean thinking and 5S.
• Operate a power industrial forklift and perform daily inspections.
• Train operators to high standards and ensure safety guidelines are followed.
• Report equipment malfunctions and participate in safety trainings.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe working environment.
