Job summary

Southshore Companies, an ISO 9001:2015 certified logistics provider, is seeking a Floor Supervisor to lead forklift operators, auditors, and CSRs in a regional distribution center in Iowa. You will drive operational excellence, coach staff, manage inventory using SAP, and ensure safety and efficiency while meeting customer requirements.

The role requires 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experience, a forklift license, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years warehouse supervision experience required.
• Powered Industrial Forklift Truck License is highly preferred.
• Prior SAP scanning experience is a plus.
• Leadership & management skills: ability to lead, assign work, and motivate LTOs to deliver exceptional performance.
• Bilingual is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute the daily operational plan in accordance with site leadership direction.
• Schedule, assign, and perform warehousing duties including loading/unloading, put-away, and picking.
• Lead forklift operators and auditors to deliver best-in-class customer service.
• Provide coaching and leadership to forklift operations and auditors.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with team, customers, and leadership.
• Support inventory management and audit station using SAP.
• Identify and report damaged inventory and shortages.
• Foster a safety-focused culture and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
• Train forklift operators to highest standards and ensure adherence to processes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and operate forklifts safely.
