Job summary

ASPCA’s Community Veterinary Clinic seeks a Licensed Veterinary Technician Staff and Floor Manager to lead medical and floor operations for HQHVSN and primary pet care. You will assist veterinarians, manage workflow, and ensure high-quality care while engaging with clients in ASPCA service areas.

You’ll coach nursing staff, monitor safety, and participate in training, with opportunities for professional growth and leadership within a respected animal-welfare organization.

Qualifications

• Must have NY State Veterinary Technician License
• Graduate from an accredited veterinary technology program
• Minimum five years as RVT in small animal medicine and surgery
• Minimum two years people management experience

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of veterinary technician duties including venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep and recovery
• Collaborate with veterinarians and staff to support HQHVSN and PPC for cats and dogs
• Maintain low-stress handling; communicate with clients and obtain histories
• Oversee clinic floor workflow and ensure efficient use of staff time
