Job summary

ASPCA Community Veterinary Clinic seeks a Licensed Veterinary Technician Staff and Floor Manager to support HQHVSN and PPC for cats and dogs in underserved communities. You will direct floor workflow, assist with procedures, and work closely with the management team to deliver high quality care.

Responsibilities include medical tech duties, client communication, staff coaching, and ensuring adherence to CM protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited veterinary technology program.
• Licensed in New York State; New York State license required.
• Experienced in HQHVSN and primary care clinic settings.
• Proven ability to manage floor workflow and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform veterinary tech tasks including venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery.
• Assist veterinarians in HQHVSN and primary care for cats and dogs.
• Coach nursing staff and ensure compliance with CM procedures.
• Coordinate daily clinic workflow and on-site team management.
• Train and onboard new staff; supervise interns and residents.
