Job summary

The ASPCA's Community Medicine team is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician Staff and Floor Manager for the Community Veterinary Clinic. You will help run HQHVSN and primary care services for cats and dogs in underserved communities, directing floor workflow and assisting veterinarians with treatments while delivering compassionate client communication.

You will collaborate with the CM leadership to optimize daily clinic operations, ensure high-quality patient care, and mentor nursing staff

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Veterinary Technician in NY or eligible for NY licensure.
• Strong leadership and people management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and client-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of veterinary technician tasks including anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, and patient recovery.
• Direct workflow on the clinic floor and support HQHVSN and PPC services for cats and dogs.
• Coach staff to maintain high standards of care and patient safety.

Education

Licensed Veterinary Technician degree or equivalent
