Job summary

Alameda Pet Hospital in Alameda, CA seeks a Lead Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to guide the front-desk team and deliver exceptional client experiences for pets and their families.

The right candidate will have leadership or senior CSR experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a caring, proactive approach in a busy clinic environment. This is a full-time hourly role with weekdays schedules and no weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in veterinary reception or client service in animal care.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, training, or mentoring experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for a fast-paced front desk.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide front-desk CSRs, setting daily priorities and coverage.
• Welcome clients and pets, manage calls, schedule appointments, and handle refills.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and staff to maintain smooth patient flow.
• Train and mentor CSRs, reinforce best practices, and support accountability.
• Address routine questions, escalate complex issues to management.
• Maintain timely communications via phones, emails, texts, and messages.
