Job summary

7-Eleven’s 7RESEARCH team is seeking a Lead UX Researcher to guide research for enterprise applications, with a primary focus on Merchandising and Merchant Tools. The role leads research strategy, mentors researchers, and helps product teams translate insights into action from discovery through post-launch learning.

The position is onsite in Irving, TX, and requires strong collaboration with Product, Design, Engineering, and business stakeholders to drive customer- and employee-centered

Qualifications

• 7+ years in UX Research or related fields.
• Experience leading research initiatives and influencing product decisions.
• Experience with both qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Experience supporting enterprise, B2B, SaaS, workflow, or operational products.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management.
• Experience mentoring researchers or leading research across teams.
• Bachelor's degree in HCI, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead research across the product lifecycle from discovery to post-launch learning.
• Develop research plans aligned with product priorities and business goals.
• Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, Directors, and stakeholders to inform decisions.
• Mentor researchers and ensure high quality research output.
• Translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Support Enterprise initiatives including Merchandising and Merchant Tools.
