7-Eleven, Inc. invites applications for a Research Operations Intern within the 7RESEARCH team of the Digital UX organization. You will help ensure smooth research projects, coordinating logistics and supporting researchers, products, and store-facing experiences.

This internship focuses on research operations with supervised opportunities to contribute to insights activities and to develop practical skills across the research lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate, master's, or PhD program in psychology, cognitive science, human-computer interaction, or related fields.
• Experience with research, project coordination, operations, or data analysis from coursework or internships.
• Foundational understanding of user-centered research and its role in product development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate study logistics, including timelines, scheduling, status tracking, follow-ups, and stakeholder updates.
• Assist with participant recruitment, screening, confirmations, reminders, attendance tracking, and incentives.
• Prepare and quality-check study materials such as screeners, consent forms, discussion guides, surveys, testing links, and session checklists.
• Support in-person and remote research sessions in the Experience Lab and related spaces.
• Organize research files and repositories with team naming, tagging, and access standards.
• Assist with research-tool administration and project setup.
• Maintain simple trackers and dashboards for study status and recurring issues.
• Identify workflow improvements and help create templates, checklists, and playbooks.
• Observe sessions, summarize themes, and contribute to data organization.
• Complete an independent internship project focused on improving research operations.
