Job summary

KellyMitchell is seeking a Senior UX Researcher/Designer to lead user-centered research and experience design for enterprise digital products. The role is heavily research-focused (60-70%) with strategic influence across cross-functional teams in complex environments. Oil & gas industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 7+ years of UX Research/UX Design or related disciplines.
• Strong focus on UX research with end-to-end project leadership.
• Portfolio showing research, interaction design, and problem-solving.
• Expertise in usability testing, interviews, synthesis, and design methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency with Figma.
• Knowledge of information architecture and accessibility standards.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
• Experience with stakeholder engagement and journey mapping.

Responsibilities

• Lead qualitative and quantitative user research across enterprise apps and experiences.
• Conduct interviews, inquiries, surveys, workshops, and usability studies.
• Synthesize findings into actionable insights, personas, journeys, and service blueprints.
• Identify pain points, unmet needs, and opportunities for improvement.
• Define experience strategies aligning business goals with user needs.
• Create flows, IA, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models.
• Translate complex requirements into scalable UX.
• Facilitate design-thinking workshops with stakeholders.
• Plan and execute usability testing to validate concepts.
• Analyze feedback and metrics to drive improvements.
• Present research findings to leadership and teams.
• Advocate for user-centered design across initiatives.
