Job summary

7-Eleven is seeking a Research Operations Intern to join the 7RESEARCH team within the Digital UX organization. You will help research projects run smoothly from planning to insight delivery, partnering with researchers, product managers, designers, developers, and other teams.

The role focuses on research operations, improving processes, and hands-on exposure to research activities across the lifecycle while learning from a talented group in a state-of-the-art lab environment.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication with participants and cross‑functional partners.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Basic understanding of interviews, usability testing, surveys, data organization, or synthesizing themes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate study logistics, including timelines, scheduling, status tracking, follow-ups, and stakeholder updates.
• Assist with participant recruitment, screening, confirmations, reminders, attendance tracking, and incentives.
• Prepare and quality-check study materials such as screeners, consent forms, discussion guides, surveys, testing links, and session checklists.
• Support in-person and remote research sessions, including the Experience Lab, equipment, recording workflows, and collaboration spaces.
• Organize research files and repositories using team standards for naming, documentation, tagging, and access.
• Assist with research-tool administration, project setup, user access, basic troubleshooting, and process documentation.
• Maintain simple trackers or dashboards for study status, recruitment progress, tool usage, and recurring operational issues.
• Identify workflow improvements and help create templates, checklists, playbooks, and other reusable resources.
