Job summary

R-2 Contractors is seeking an experienced Utility-Scale Concrete Foreman to lead field crews on foundation projects across the United States. This role safely plans, coordinates, and executes daily concrete operations while delivering high-quality workmanship.

You will read project drawings, manage formwork, placement, finishing, and curing, and mentor crew members to build future foremen. Travel is 100% to active sites with extended hours as schedules require, backed by a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of utility-scale or heavy civil concrete construction experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Concrete Foreman leading field crews.
• Strong knowledge of flatwork, footing, reinforcing steel, formwork, and concrete finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret project drawings and specs.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and work extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily concrete construction activities for foundation projects.
• Plan daily work, coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and layout information.
• Coordinate forming, reinforcing, concrete placement, finishing, and curing.
• Maintain safety, quality, and project documentation; train crew members.
