Job summary

R-2 Contractors is seeking an experienced Utility-Scale Concrete Foreman to lead field crews on concrete foundation projects across the United States. The role emphasizes safety, planning, coordination of crews and equipment, and delivering high-quality workmanship while developing team members.

The position requires 5+ years in utility-scale or heavy civil concrete construction, 2+ years as a Foreman, and willingness to travel nationwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of utility-scale or heavy civil concrete construction experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Concrete Foreman leading field crews.
• Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily concrete construction activities for utility-scale foundation projects.
• Plan daily work assignments and coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Read and interpret project drawings, specifications, layout information, and construction documents.
• Coordinate reinforcing steel installation, formwork, anchor bolt assemblies, embedded items, concrete placement, finishing, and curing.
