Job summary

Benchmark Utility Services is seeking a Foreman to lead daily operations on utility construction projects. The role blends hands-on labor with leadership to ensure safe installation and maintenance of utility systems, while maintaining high productivity and adherence to plans and schedules.

The Foreman will supervise crews, review blueprints, and enforce safety standards, with expectations of strong communication and problem-solving on diverse job sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• OSHA 10/30 certifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activity and time reporting of field crews.
• Reviews project plans, blueprints, and material deliveries; tracks truckings and subcontractor work.
• Ensures safety compliance and quality standards on site.
• Mentors crew members and conducts performance evaluations.
• Coordinates with Superintendent, project managers, and subcontractors; resolves issues.
• Willingness to perform laborer and operator duties if needed.
• Available six days a week when required.
