Benchmark Utility Services is seeking a hands-on Foreman to lead utility construction crews in Louisiana. The role combines physical labor with leadership duties, ensuring safe installation and maintenance of utility systems while meeting project plans and schedules.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in construction with at least 2 years in supervision, strong blueprint-reading skills, OSHA certifications, and a demonstrated ability to mentor crew members.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on construction experience, with at least 2 years in supervision.
• OSHA 10/30 certifications required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Must be able to work six days a week as needed.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activity, time reporting, and toolbox talks.
• Review project plans and track material deliveries.
• Inspect sites for safety and compliance with specs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime.
• Mentor crew and conduct performance evaluations.
