Job summary

Benchmark Utility Services is seeking a hands-on Foreman to supervise daily field operations on utility projects in Virginia. You will lead crews, review plans, ensure safety, and keep projects on schedule and budget.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in construction with two years in a supervisory role, OSHA 10/30, strong communication, and the ability to mentor crew members while coordinating with subcontractors. This is a demanding role offering growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' hands-on construction experience.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• OSHA 10/30 certifications.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and on-site teams.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activity and time reporting of field crews.
• Reviews project plans, blueprints, and material deliveries.
• Ensures safety compliance and inspects equipment and sites.
• Trains and mentors crew members to enhance skills.
• Communicates with Superintendent and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Manages on-site job costs, schedule, and production goals.
