Job summary

Benchmark Utility Services seeks an experienced Foreman to lead utility construction crews. The role combines hands-on field work with leadership to install and maintain utility systems safely and efficiently, ensuring project plans are followed and safety standards met.

You will oversee daily activities, coordinate with subcontractors, and mentor crew members while maintaining high production and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of hands-on construction experience.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• OSHA 10/30 certifications.
• Experience with subcontractors and on-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities and time reporting of field crews.
• Review project plans, blueprints, and track materials and deliveries.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with specs on-site.
• Coordinate with Superintendent and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Mentor crew members and conduct performance evaluations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for equipment installation.
• Be available six days a week and perform laborer/operator duties if needed.
